Hi, I’m Janeen.

I am a stay at home mom, a wife that loves her husband (imperfectly at times). I am a child of God that has days of doubt and days of peace, times of suffering and an underlying feeling of  unshakable joy. We all live in this broken world and journey through this life to hopefully make it to heaven some day, where life will be beyond our most perfect dreams.

Many people today hide pieces of themselves, afraid that if anyone were to see them they would be judged or looked down upon. We all have some of those pieces in our past, present and future. This blog is my attempt to be transparent, authentic and real. To share about the journey from where I was to where I am headed. One of the most amazing things about following Jesus is the closer you get to him the more of your rough spots he chisels away. Not by your own willpower do you change but by his power. This is a  journey showing my process of becoming a believer, dealing with my struggles and doubts and God changing my heart, my mind and my soul to change me into a follower of Jesus.
